At Hunny Nanny, we strive to make the sensory exploration journey enjoyable and stress-free for both children and their caregivers. Our classes are facilitated by experienced professionals who bring passion and expertise to guide children through a variety of sensory-rich experiences. We provide all the necessary materials and take care of the cleanup, so you can focus on enjoying the moment without worrying about the mess.
All activities in our classes are presented in a Montessori-style format, encouraging problem-solving and free exploration of materials. The majority of our activities are open-ended, allowing children the freedom to express themselves and engage at their own pace. While many activities do not require adult guidance, we recognize the importance of age-appropriate supervision, and we encourage adults, teachers, or caregivers to join in the fun, ensuring that materials are handled safely.
Sample Class Format
Our sensory classes are child-led; meaning children are welcome to come right in and begin exploring at their pace. They are free to explore as many or as little of the activites they would like.
Sample activites include; themed bins including various materials; sand, playdough, cloud dough, kinetic sand, water, bubbles, foam, soap, slime, homemade "dirt".
Most of our filler supplies are made by staff and edible- in the event your kiddo puts a substance in their mouth. Our team will go over this at the beginning of the class.
We encourage parents to allow the child to explore the bins at their own pace and to encourage a creative experience; allow the child to interact with the activities however they please (as long as it is safe).
Other Things To Know
Adult Participation Required.
Adults are expected to look over their children to ensure a safe environment.
What To Bring
All materials are provided.
Children may get a little messy depending on the lessons that week, a change of clothes could be beneficial!
