Play Library at Ish Festival

In partnership with the Urban League Young Professionals and sponsored by the Mayerson Foundation, Play Library will be cohosting the activity booth at Ish: Cincinnati's Jewish and Israeli Arts and Culture Festival. Our activity will benefit Woodward Career Technical High School's Groom Room. Please bring along donations of grooming products like hotel shampoo samples, nail poilsh, combs, hair dryers, etc. It's gonna be a super event on a very beautiful day (fingies crossed!). Play Library Play Testers 4-6y x2

Update 8/1: This event is SOLD OUT - please check back for the next one!

Play Library and US Playing Card Company are looking for 4 youth (between 4-6 years old) and 4 adult participants to test some new (not yet released) games! All kids will walk away with a goodie bag!

After the first Play Library testing session, it was determined that some changes needed to be made to "Monkey May I" and they are looking for 4 kids and their adults to test the revised samples.

We will have kids and their grown-ups arrive for 15 minute shifts. The event is Free but you MUST reserve your spot.

Parents/guardians are REQUIRED to stay with their children the ENTIRE time. You may bring your other kids (outside of the age bracket) but they MUST be able to entertain themselves. Your attention is reqired with the 4-6year old.

We Need your Commitment for this event.
Snacks are available for purchase.

Findlay Market is staying open late on Wednesdays from May-September to accommodate the grocery shopping needs of those who live and work in the city. 

This week's featured community group will be The Play Library. Welcome Play Library members and prospective members. 

Join us each Wednesday for our special Groceries & Grilling Program! Each week has a different theme and featured merchant.

This Week's Theme: Family Night
Featured Merchant: Em's Sourdough Bread

Groceries & Grilling:
1. Watch our featured merchant do a food demo at 5:30 and 6:30pm
2. Grab a recipe card and shop for the ingredients
3. Grill up your own delicious meal on one of our satellite grills

Findlay Market provides utensils, plates, napkins, basic spices and condiments, grills, tongs, spatulas and tin foil. You provide the grub!

The OTR Biergarten at Findlay Market is open, and Market Wines at Findlay Market is putting together red and white wine pairings the whole family can enjoy! 

Groceries & Grilling takes place on the Race Street esplanade.

We'll have the Giant Parachute and Accompanying Activities. We'll Provide the Laughs, You Bring the Giggles. All Ages Welcome. 

Meet on the North Lawn (just north of the fountains).

Some rules:

1. Be respectful & Cooperative

2. Grown-ups, no standing on the sidelines - come play! Your kids want to play With you. 

3, A new game will start about every 10 minutes on the 10(ish) minutes. If you arrive in the middle of a game, wait till the next one. Do not run into the middle of a game. I do not want anyone to get hurt.

Cincinnati Pops Orchestra is holding a Game and Toy Drive for Play Library! 

Cincinnati Pops Orchestra's Superheroes program is back and packed with more familiar favorites than ever! Costumes are encouraged as John Morris Russell and your Cincinnati Pops team up with Cincinnati Children’s Theatre to provide the action and soundtrack to this epic adventure.

Visit the Family Fun Zone to try orchestra instruments, make a craft and more! Open pre-concert starting at 9:30 am and immediately following the concert. Bring a a toy or game to donate to PLAY LIBRARY!!!

What's a Little Yelper you ask?
Yelp isn't just about grown ups. Open to the entire Yelp community, we launched Little Yelpers Club for kids up to age 11. Come explore kid-friendly businesses you might not know about and meet other Yelpers with kids. Whether you have wee ones in your life 24/7 or just occasionally babysit your nephew for the afternoon, we're hooking you up with all the hot spots for tots.

This event will be held at The Play Library in historic Over-the-Rhine on May 16th from 6-8pm. We will get to meet the owner, check out the brand NEW space, have some munchies, and play some fun games!

Help Bill & Ted pass a bogus History Exam in a stellar journey through time across the Queen City! 

You've never seen an adult scavenger hunt/bar crawl like this!

At this All-Ages event, you get to go cray-cray and scribble on everything! Phil Rowland has created an entire dry-erase map of Cincinnati coloring room. Like, literally, the floor, windows and all walls are decorated in black and white map that YOU get to explore! Come color and find some hidden goodies on the walls, floors & windows.
